Breast lift surgery is planned individually. The technique to be applied in surgery depends on the shape and size of the breasts; the size and position of the nipple circumference; the degree of envelopment in the chest; It may vary according to the patient’s skin excess and skin structure.

In the breast lift operation performed under general anesthesia, incisions are made around the nipple, called the areola, extending from the areola to the under breast.

After the incision is made, the breast is shaped by lifting the underlying breast tissue to improve the contour and firmness of the breast. The nipple and nipple head are repositioned; If necessary for the patient, the enlarged nipple circumference is reduced. In the meantime, the sagging breast skin that loses its elasticity is removed.

After the breasts are shaped and freed from excess skin, the incisions are closed. In this process, which aims to leave as few scars as possible, the patient should consider the recommendations of the surgeons. It is normal and expected for surgical sutures to leave scars. The scars after breast lift will lose their clarity over time.
